Canatara Creations 2006: The LWI Young Naturalists created a temporary piece of natural artwork. The children learned that each piece of nature is an important part of the web of life and that enjoying it without removing it could be an enjoyable and beautiful endeavor.

Promethea Moth Caterpillar: This caterpillar was discovered during our Sept. 2006 Butterfly Tagging outing. Yes this creature is from the planet Earth and yes we did all get a chance to feel its sticky feet crawl across our hands! |
