Hello Young Nats,

Lambton Wildlife Inc. and the Young Nats are thrilled to be holding our 4th annual Christmas Bird Count for Kids (CBC4KIDS) on January 4th, 2025 from 9:30am – Noon at Canatara Park. 

Come on out with your parent or guardian and join us while we see what birds are hanging out in our forest, beaches and pond.

Pre-registration is required, as numbers are limited. As Young Naturalist Club members, you have the exclusive benefit of registering before we put it out to the general public. So don’t delay and register today! Binoculars and Spotting Scope available for use sponsored by LWI, Vortex Optics, & Nova Chemicals. After the count, we will finish with a provided snack and drink!

Young Naturalists gives children the opportunity to experience the natural world through scientific inquiry, community involvement & artistic creativity. Program offers a variety of activities like owl prowls, fungi foraging and turtle monitoring. The activities for 2023 are listed on the image below.
