Outdoor Event Registration:

We are currently developing guidelines for on-line event registrations. Due to Covid restrictions, attendance may be limited to 10 participants for Outdoor Events. An email will be sent to all active members 2 weeks prior to each event providing a link to sign up on Eventbrite. The number of available spaces will be indicated based upon Covid protocols at the time. Due to limited space, we ask that you sign up for a maximum of 2 events in 2021. There is no fee to use this service.

Please note: For overnight events, members must directly contact the listed contact for each event.

The following events have been cancelled: Spring Wildflowers (May 1),  Camping on Pelee Island (May 6-9)  and Migration in Canatara Park (May 12)

Online registration will remain in place until further notice.

Ecology of Lake Sturgeon

Join us at 7pm for a social gathering before the presentation. Conversation, cookies and drinks available.

Tanya Fendler is a graduate student researching how introduced species such as the round goby and dreissenid mussel in the Great Lakes have affected the ecology of lake sturgeon. It is hoped that the results of her research will contribute to conservation and restoration projects in the future.
