Hummingbird Banding
June 15, 2019 @ 9:30 am - 3:00 pm
Starts at 9:30 am, at 2429 Kimball Road.
Join master banders Carl and Rachel as they catch and band these tiny amazing birds, Ruby-throated Hummingbirds. Learn all about their lives, and migration while getting close-up views. There are less than 200 licensed hummingbird banders in Canada and the US, so we are extremely lucky to be able to be a part of science in action!
