Lambton Wildlife Indoor Events will now be held at the Sarnia Library Theatre, 124 Christina St. S., Sarnia. Presentations will start at 7:00 pm. Pinery Butterfly Count

June 22 @ 8:30 am

The Pinery Butterfly Count will be held on Saturday June 22, 2024. It is a NABA Count. (North American Butterfly Association) and there is a $5.00 administration fee per person. Participants are asked to meet at the Chalet between 8:30-9:00 a.m. (Ask for directions at the gate).
Courtesy entry into the park will be allowed provided you confirm your attendance by June 17th with Sharon Nethercott. NABA discourages use of nets and encourages participants to photograph the butterflies they see.
 
Participants will be divided into groups to include a cross section of experience levels. There is no need to be an expert. Locations are also available outside of the park.  Printouts of maps and recording forms will be provided at Pinery or can be emailed in advance. Individuals interested in attending and/or those with questions are asked to contact Sharon.   Nethercottsharon2@gmail.com
